Escape the Clouds: Performance

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Escape the Clouds performs a set of his narrative world/industrial music from across his three released albums and his upcoming fourth album.

A female “Jack” the Ripper. Horny hitmen. Vengeful airship pirates. The devil himself. These are just some of the memorable characters that populate the vivid lyrics and soundscapes of MarkRossmore’s dark, narrative songs. Performing as Escape the Clouds, this Pensacola-basedsteampunk solo artist twists together influences from world, industrial, and electronic music into an altogether new palette of sounds and rhythms.

An author as well, his work includes nearly fifty fiction and non-fiction writing pieces in print. To compliment his songs, he’s also produced multiple original music videos entirely on his own, writing, filming, and editing them all from start to finish. A private pilot and aviation aficionado, his creations are largely inspired by the beauty of flight.

Mark’s work has been nominated four times for Steampunk Chronicle’s Reader’s Choice Awards, and he’s had the pleasure of being a panelist at Atlanta’s Dragon Con several years in a row. To help share the work of steampunk musicians around the world, he also founded steampunk music community site Steampunk-Music.com.

His music, videos, and writing work are available at http://www.EscapeTheClouds.com .
